How to Get Good Reviews on AirBNB
How to Get Good Reviews on Airbnb
We love using Airbnb as we travel the world! It’s a comfortable and affordable way to travel for our family. We can save money and maintain a semi-normal lifestyle by staying in a home. We have stayed at tons and tons of homes along our travels. And it is really important to have good reviews so you can stay in great places and be a trusted guest. So here is how to get good reviews on Airbnb so you can travel in comfort.
Have Good Communication with Host
It’s important that you have good communication with your Airbnb host. Make sure you let them know your arrival time and if you have any special needs. If you have any questions during your stay, don’t hesitate to reach out to them to get the answer. You always want to error on the side of caution and ask for their help if you need it. But don’t be a nuisance and bother them with every little thing. Use good judgement and treat their home with respect.
Take sheets off the beds
Yes, you are most likely paying for a cleaning fee. But it is always a nice gesture to go the extra mile and start the cleaning process for them. It doesn’t take much effort to remove the sheets from the beds and put them in a pile on the floor. Same goes with the towels. You can gather the used towels up and place them in a pile. Really want to impress your host?? Start a load of laundry to make it easier for them to start cleaning and getting ready for the next guest.
Clean the countertops
You probably made a bit of a mess of the kitchen during your stay, so it would be nice if you simply wipe down the counters so it doesn’t look like such a mess. It’s a little thing that makes a big difference in the appearance of the cleanliness of the home.
Tidy Up
If you moved chairs around, read books, or played with games or puzzles during your stay, make sure to tidy up after yourself. Make the home look like it did when you arrived.
Be Kind
If you have an issue during your stay, treat the host with kindness and respect. We’ve had quite a few problems with internet and kitchen supplies, but we always make sure to remain calm and treat the host with respect. When you do, they’re more willing to be accommodating and fix the problems. Kindness goes a long way!
If you follow some of these simple steps, you will be more likely to get a good review on Airbnb. It’s made our stay more enjoyable and we hope it helps you too!
